I work with adult clients to develop healthy ways of thinking about, managing and responding to challenges.

This may involve learning alternative strategies to manage immediate concerns or exploring longer term issues in depth over a more extended period of time.

I have a particular interest in working with adults who have experienced:

  • Traumatic  or distressing events, including PTSD or a history of childhood trauma 

  • Drug and Alcohol Dependency 

  • Anxiety            

  • Depression

  • Relationship conflict and stress

  • Adjusting to significant life events and transitions​

I use a range of counselling approaches including:

  • Schema Therapy, 

  • Trauma focussed therapies including Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR),

  • Mindfulness,

  • Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT),

  • Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)
